Top 3 Romantic Hair Styles

With Valentines Day just around the corner, it’s only natural to want to do something a little extra special with your hair. Whether it’s for your partner, your pet, or maybe for yourself, it feels good to look good. These are going to be three of our favourite easy hairstyles that you can do yourself for V-day!

1. Wispy Top knot

This Quick and easy up do is a classic and will never not be in style. There’s something so elegant and romantic about this hairstyle. Perfect for a romantic dinner or a chill stay at home evening, you can dress this style up or down with the right accessories. Its quick, easy and will look great with whatever the occasion.

The trick with this style is just having lots of volume and lots of face framing pieces to accent your faces accent points such as your eyes and cheekbones.

This style can also be worn as a medium-low knot (bun) to accent different features of your face such as your lips or jawline. This look is relaxed and can be paired with either something dressy i.e. a slip dress, dainty jewelry, and strappy heels. Or, if you want a laid back look pair this hairstyle with a matching sweat suit, Jordan’s and maybe a baseball cap. Both styles are stunning, easy to do on yourself, and perfect for this romantic holiday based on what feels best to you.

2. Relaxed waves

A flowy easy going wave to your hair will always be a great choice for a going out style to wear and not have to worry or fuss to much with accessories or anything too fancy. If its your thing to add a braid or two go for it! If you want to do a half up half down style, that would be stunning! Or just leave it all down and add some texurizing spray for an easy going laid back style. Big beautiful waves are an all time favourite and will most likely be sticking around for a while because we are obsessed.

3. Loose braid

Lastly, if these top two aren’t quite for you, opt for a big beautiful braid! Effortless and stunning for date night AND you don’t have to have clean hair for this which is always an added bonus. If you do have second or third day hair, add dry shampoo for extra volume and grit. My personal favourite dry shampoo is the Batiste XXL Volume dry shampoo spray for even bigger braids and more volume. And if you’re still wanting a bigger, bolder, fluffier, braid... be sure to try out a bubble braid or dutch braid. These will for sure be giving you the maximum texture and fluffiness that you’re looking for this Valentine’s day.
